Make questions required

For higher response rates, Formware recommends letting people only answer the questions that they want. But sometimes there are questions that you need answered—in these cases, you can make them required.

Here’s how you can make any question as required in your form.

1. Open an existing form that you want to edit, or start a new one.
2. Navigate to the question that you want to make as required.
3. Click on the Required switch in the Config tab on the right panel.

When activated, you will see a red colored asterisk mark next to any question that has been set to required. Respondents will also see the red asterisk while filling the forms.

Now, when a respondent is answering your form, they'll have to answer the required question before they can move on to the next question. The Submit or Next page button will remain disabled until an answer for a required question has been provided.
