Add images and GIFs to your forms

Here's how to add media to your Formware, including steps for inserting images and animated GIFs.

You can add images in two ways: by providing to an image URL or uploading your own file. Use the Layouts feature to customize their appearance.

1. Click on any question you want to add an image to, then click + next to Video and Images under Question settings to open the media gallery.

2. Now you can upload an image or GIF by clicking Upload, or dragging and dropping an image into the Upload area.

Formware supports JPEG, PNG, static and animated GIF files with a maximum size of 4 MB. Formware supports transparent backgrounds to enable configuration of background color via the Theme properties.

3. To configure an Image URL, go to the Link tab, and simply paste the URL of an image file. Please note that if your URL does not return an image, you won't see any changes to your form. If you are looking for royalty free stock photos, you can browse services like Unsplash and paste the URL of your preferred image to include it your Formware.

4. Click the submit button and the image will load automatically into your Formware.

Now, it's time to decide the Layout.

5. In the Question settings, you can choose a different layout for Mobile and Desktop devices. Simply click on the layout icon of your choice in the menu.

At any time, you can click the Change or Remove button to modify or delete your images, GIFs, or videos.
